ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1985, the oldest of three girls. My father, an architect, and my mother, a landscape architect, nurtured a home filled with creativity, family, and curiosity. I attended Montessori school through 8th grade, which instilled in me a love of learning and self-directed exploration. In high school, during a psychology elective, I discovered a fascination with human behavior and the mind—a spark that would shape my future.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and education from the University of Southern Mississippi. After an internship in social work, I realized my true calling was in education. I began working as a governess and homeschooling tutor, then as assistant director of a toddler learning program while completing my Master in the Art of Teaching Certification at William Carey University. Teaching young children deepened my joy in nurturing growth, curiosity, and confidence in others—an experience that remains at the heart of my approach today.
In 2014, I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and embarked on a decade-long adventure in the yachting industry, serving as a stewardess and chef aboard yachts ranging from 100–160 feet. Traveling the world, I honed resilience, adaptability, and leadership skills, which I now integrate into my teaching and coaching. Since 2022, I have taught at a yacht crew training school, instructing Superyacht Hospitality for stewards and stewardesses, as well as Leadership & Management for officers and captains.
My path to coaching grew from deeply personal experiences. In 2024, my husband entered recovery from alcohol addiction, which began my own journey of understanding codependency, boundaries, communication, resilience, and the importance of self-awareness. Through that experience, I came to recognize how deeply our personal patterns can influence the way we communicate, make decisions, manage relationships, and ultimately lead ourselves and others.
Inspired by a life coach and spiritual teacher whose story mirrored aspects of my own, I felt drawn to develop the skills to support others through periods of challenge, transition, and growth. I earned my life coach certification to complement my background in psychology, education, and leadership, bringing together compassionate support with practical tools that help people gain clarity, strengthen their confidence, and become more intentional in how they show up—both personally and professionally.
